Eddie Goldston is in his second year with the Lakeland men’s basketball program and will again serve as the team’s lead assistant coach, focusing on the day-to-day operations of the program.
Prior to arriving at Lakeland, Goldston was a graduate assistant men's basketball coach at Concordia University Ann Arbor. Concordia (Mich.) experienced team success under Goldston, finishing sixth in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference despite being picked 10th in the preseason poll. He also assisted in developing three WHAC all-conference players.
Goldston played collegiately at Judson (Ill.) University, where he was a four-year member of the team with the NAIA Eagles. He appeared in 49 career games, including being a regular part of the rotation his last two years and serving as a team captain as a senior. He also began his coaching career at Judson, spending one year as a student assistant coach with the Eagles.
Goldston is a native of Naperville, Ill., and a graduate of Matea Valley High School. He received his bachelor’s degree from Judson in natural sciences with a concentration in education and completed his master’s degree at Concordia Ann Arbor in student personnel administration in higher education.
