2017-18: Played in all 26 games, starting seven, and averaged 22.8 minutes per game… Posted season averages of 7.6 points, 5.2 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game, finishing with totals of 198 points, 136 rebounds, 29 assists, 22 blocked shots and 21 steals… Made 71 of 177 field goal attempts (40.1%), including 29 of 834 from three-point range (34.5%) plus 27 of 43 from the foul line (62.8%)… Tied career high with 22 points Dec. 19 at Northland… Recorded a pair of double-doubles, including 13 points plus a season-high 11 rebounds Nov. 28 at Dominican… Recipient of Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Scholar-Athlete Award.

2016-17: Played in all 25 games, starting 24, and averaged 29.8 minutes per contest… Averaged 10.1 points, 6.3 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.2 steals per game, finishing year with totals of 253 points, 157 rebounds, 32 assists, 31 steals and 16 blocked shots… Made 104 of 227 shots from the floor (45.8%), including 38.1% from three-point range (24 of 63) and 67.7% at the line (21 of 31)… Led team in blocked shots and ranked second in rebounding and three-point percentage, third in steals and three-pointers made and fifth in assists... Scored career-high 22 points Jan. 15 against Finlandia, part of a double-double that also included 11 rebounds… Also notched a career-high four assists Jan. 4 against Marian… Recipient of NACC Scholar-Athlete Award.

2015-16: Played in five games, starting one, before season was cut short by injury… Averaged 2.4 points, 4.8 rebounds and 1.1 assists, finishing with season totals of 12 points, 24 rebounds and six assists… Shot 4 of 12 from the field and hit 4 of 8 free throw tries… Recipient of NACC Scholar-Athlete Award.

2014-15: Played in a total of 25 games, starting eight and averaging 19.1 minutes … Averaged 5.6 points and 4.1 rebounds per game, finishing the season with 141 points, 103 rebounds, 24 assists, 32 steals and nine blocked shots… Shot 57 of 94 from the field (60.6%) and 26 of 38 from the free throw line (68.4%)… Also made 1 of 3 three-point tries… Scored a season-high 18 points Dec. 2 against Wisconsin Lutheran and posted a double-double with 12 points and 15 rebounds against Concordia Chicago Nov. 29... Named to NACC All-Freshman Team.

High School: Four-year letter winner on basketball team and also lettered two years in baseball and participated in tennis and football… Team captain and named Second Team All-Eastern Wisconsin Conference in basketball as a senior…Two-time academic all-state selection… Class vice president… Honor roll student and member of National Honor Society.

Personal: June 13, 1996… Son of Leif & Tracie Nygaard and has three brothers (Nathaniel, Ryan and Jeremy) and one sister (Britt)… Majoring in accounting.
