Biography
2017-18: Played in all 26 games, starting 25 and averaging 28.7 minutes per game… Posted season averages of 13.6 points and 6.9 rebounds per game, finishing season with totals of 354 points, 179 rebounds, 21 assists, 21 steals and nine blocked shots… Shot 48.1% from the field (148 of 308) and 42.1% from three-point range (24 of 57), and also converted 34 of 55 from the free throw line (61.8%)… Recorded three double-doubles… Scored career-high 27 points Feb. 17 at Finlandia, and posted career-best 13 rebounds Jan. 13 at Concordia Wisconsin… Recipient of Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Scholar-Athlete Award.
Livingstone College: Jinad transferred to Lakeland from NCAA Division II Livingstone College, where he played in 14 games in 2016-17 as a freshman, starting two, and averaged 1.0 point per game, with season totals of 14 points, seven rebounds and three assists.
High School: Three-year letter winner in basketball and was a two-time all-conference selection, including first team as a senior… Also a team captain and team MVP as a senior, when he was also named all-state in Illinois.
Personal: Born April 30, 1998… Son of Shakur Jinad and Frances Williams-Jinad and has two sisters (Curissa and Chavon)… Majoring in accounting.
