Biography

Triton College: Cortez is in his first year with the Muskies and is a transfer from Triton College in River Grove, Ill. Cortez played two years for the Trojans on successful teams that won 24 matches over two seasons, playing in 38 matches and starting 28.

High School: Four-year letter winner on soccer and boys volleyball teams… All-conference in soccer.

Personal: Son of Joaquin Cortez and Esther Munoz and has three brothers (Alexander, Xavi and Liam)… Majoring in computer science.
