Alessandro Bianchi returns for his second year as a volunteer assistant coach with the Lakeland men’s soccer team in 2025.

'Ale' joined Lakeland as an assistant coach after a strong career playing for the Muskies. He was a five-year starter for the team, appearing in 63 career matches. As a midfielder he scored six goals and added four assists, and he was named an honorable mention all-Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference selection in 2021.

Bianchi is a native of Italy who also was part of the men's tennis team for five years, playing as high as Number 2 singles. He also was a member of the men's volleyball team and was a resident assistant on campus before graduating with his degree in business administration.

Bianchi is a native of Italy who came over to the United States as an exchange student in high school and graduated from Horlick High School in Racine, Wis. He also was a multi-time recipient of the NACC Scholar-Athlete Award and received his bachelor’s degree from Lakeland in business administration as well as his M.B.A. from Lakeland.
