Lakeland University Head Men’s Soccer Coach Rick Mobley will add to his duties at the school as he has been named head coach of the men’s tennis program, Athletics Director April Arvan recently announced.
Mobley already has served as the Muskies’ men’s soccer coach since Jan. 2018 and is currently in his second year leading the team. He replaces Stuart Nett, who coached Lakeland in the 2019 season.
A 21-year veteran head coach of collegiate soccer, Mobley also has previous experience coaching soccer. Along with leading the men’s soccer squad, he also was the head men’s tennis coach at Carroll University from 2005-07.
“I’m grateful to Lakeland’s administration for giving me the opportunity to lead the men’s tennis program,” said Mobley. “Tennis is a true love of mine and I’m hopeful to bring passion, energy and strong leadership to the program. There is a lot of work to do, but I’m excited for the challenge.”
