Rick Mobley

Rick Mobley is in his fifth year as head coach of the Lakeland University men’s tennis team in 2024.

Mobley has coached the Muskies to a pair of Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Tournament appearances in his first four years leading the program. The Muskies put together a three-match winning streak in 2021 on their way to earning the No. 4 seed in the conference tourney, and qualified for the tourney again the next year.

Mobley also serves as Lakeland’s head men’s soccer coach, taking over that position in 2018. He has won 21 matches in six seasons, rebuilding a struggling program into one competitive in the tough NACC.

A veteran of more than 25 years coaching, Mobley also has previous experience coaching tennis. Along with leading the men’s soccer squad, he also was the head men’s tennis coach at Carroll University from 2005-07.
