2024: Played in all 24 matches and all 98 sets… Finished with 356 kills with 222 errors in 855 attacks for a .157 hitting percentage on his way to being named a second team all-Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference selection… Led team and finished second in the NACC and 18th nationally in NCAA Division III in kills, and his kills total also ranked as the second-most in a season in school history… Added 155 digs, 40 blocks (20 solo, 20 assisted), 27 service aces and 15 assists, finishing second on team in blocks and tied for second in aces… Set career high with 28 kills against UW-Stevens Point Jan. 18, the third-most in a match in program history… Posted at least 20 kills in eight matches… Set season high with 12 digs at St. Norbert March 6 and again versus Aurora April 6.

2023: Started all 24 matches and played a total of 86 sets… Finished with 258 kills with 185 errors in 722 attack attempts for a .101 hitting percentage… Also finished with 148 digs, 43 service aces, 34 blocks (11 solo, 23 assisted) and 24 assists… Led team in kills, digs and aces, finished third in assists and tied for third in blocks… His 43 aces ranked second in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference and are the second-most in a season in Lakeland’s varsity men’s volleyball history, and he enters his senior season second on the school’s all-time career list for aces with 90… Notched double-digit kill totals in 13 matches, with a career-high 23 against Concordia Chicago Feb. 17, a number tied for the fourth-most in a match in Muskies’ varsity history… Also hammered 21 kills at Viterbo Jan. 28 and finished with 18 kills against Cardinal Stritch Feb. 20… Posted 17 kills plus a career-high 14 digs against Rockford Jan. 20… Served season-high five aces against Wisconsin Lutheran Feb. 5… Reached 500 kills for his career in season finale against St. Norbert April 8, becoming the ninth in program history to reach that mark… Recipient of NACC Scholar-Athlete Award.

2022: Started all 18 matches and played all 61 sets… Finished second on team with 139 kills with 98 errors in 353 attacks for a .116 hitting percentage… Added 84 digs, 21 service aces, 21 assists and 14 blocks (four solo, 10 assisted)… Ranked second on team in aces, tied for second in digs and fourth in blocks… Set then-career high with 12 digs in season opener against North Park (Ill.) Jan. 21… Season-best 14 kills came in season finale against Illinois Tech April 1. 

2021: As a freshman played in all 12 matches and all 40 sets in Muskies’ season abbreviated by COVID-19 pandemic… Finished with 105 kills and 80 errors in 292 attacks for a .086 hitting percentage… Also added 44 digs, 26 service aces, six blocks (three solo, three assisted) and three assists… Led team in kills and aces and ranked fourth in digs and fifth in blocks… Led NACC in service aces per set (0.65) and ranked fourth in conference in total aces… Also ranked 11th in NCAA Division III in aces/set… Set new school single-match record with seven service aces against Wisconsin Lutheran Feb. 25… Posted season-high 21 kills against Concordia (Wis.) March 2 and posted double-digit kills in three matches… Notched double-double with 13 kills and season-best 11 digs at Rockford March 16.

High School: Two-year letter winner on boys volleyball team and also lettered three years in tennis and participated in football and basketball… First team all-conference volleyball selection as a senior… Member of conference championship volleyball team as a junior and regional championship teams as a junior and senior… Received volleyball and tennis team sportsmanship awards… Member of National Business Honor Society.
 
Personal: Born Nov. 2, 2001… Son of Darrell & Jean Busalacchi and has one sister (Alex) and one brother (Jake)… Majoring in graphic design and computer science.
