Emma Bruder is in her first year as a graduate assistant with the Lakeland men’s volleyball team.
Bruder joined the Muskies staff as an assistant coach after a fine career playing for the Lakeland women’s volleyball squad from 2015-18. She was a three-year starter in the back row and ranked among the team leaders in digs and service aces all four years of her career. Bruder ranked among the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference leaders in digs her last two years and also was a three-time NACC Scholar-Athlete award winner. She finished her career with 1,436 career digs, fifth-most in school history, as well as 137 service aces.
Bruder is a native of Frankfort, Ill., and recently completed her degree in sport management and leadership with an emphasis in athletic administration and coaching at Lakeland.
