Jurney also played four years collegiately at Lakeland’s Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference rival Marian, appearing in 74 matches in his career and posting 361 kills, 324 digs, 64 service aces and 60 blocks over four years. Jurney’s career highlights included being named an honorable mention all-NACC selection as a junior.

He also played club volleyball with Rushmer among his coaches for Milwaukee Volleyball Club. He completed his degree from Marian in secondary education, and is excited to continue his coaching career at the next level and can't wait to get the season started.

“It is awesome to have the opportunity to coach in the same conference that I played in,” said Jurney. “The NACC is an extremely competitive Division III conference, and I cannot wait to get to work with the guys.”
