2014: Played in 15 matches and a total of 40 sets… Finished second on team with 385 assists and led team with average of 9.57 assists per set… Posted 33 kills with five errors in 73 attack attempts for a .384 attack percentage… Also added 40 digs, 22 blocks (four solo, 18 assisted) and 12 service aces... Named to Continental Volleyball Conference all-academic team.

Robert Morris University (Chicago): Smith transferred to Lakeland from Robert Morris, where he played volleyball for two years and started as a freshman.

High School: Two-year letter winner in volleyball and also lettered one year each in golf and cross country… Named team captain and received all-area mention in volleyball as a senior, when he also was named to two all-tournament teams… Volleyball teams won two regional titles, one sectional title, and finished fourth in the state as a junior… Also won two tournaments on golf team, including conference tournament championship… Honor roll student.

Personal: Born July 26, 1993… Son of Mike Smith and Karen Stukel and has two brothers (Zach and Michael)… Majoring in marketing.
