2022: Played in 10 matches and a total of 30 sets… Finished eight kills and five errors in 24 attacks (.125 hitting percentage… Added 12 blocks (two solo, 10 assisted), five digs and two service aces… Tied career high with three blocks at Concordia Chicago Feb. 18. 

2021: Played in six matches and a total of 12 sets in Muskies’ abbreviated season… Recorded five kills with two errors in eight attack attempts (.375 hitting percentage)… Added four block assists… Season-best two kills at Rockford March 16… Notched two block assists against both Benedictine March 12 and again versus Dominican April 2.

2020: Played in 13 matches and a total of 31 sets… Posted nine kills with two errors in 36 attacks (.194 hitting percentage)… Finished with seven blocks all assisted, five digs and four assists… Set season high with four kills at Concordia (Wis.) Feb. 21 and finished with high of three blocks at North Central (Ill.) Feb. 11.

High School: Four-year letter winner on the boys volleyball team and also lettered one year in water polo.
 
Personal: Born Sept. 11, 2001… Son of Daniel Equihua and Miguel & Julia Cardenas and has two brothers (Stevens and Kristopher) and four sisters (Marissa, Annabelle, Diana and Trinity)… Majoring in criminal justice.
