Dennis Grimm returns to the Lakeland softball coaching staff for his third season this spring. He will again assist with both the team’s hitting and fielding.
Grimm has coached in the Sheboygan North High School program for nine years. He has served as an assistant with the freshman, junior varsity and varsity teams and was head coach of the freshman team last year. This year he is serving as an assistant to the Golden Raiders’ varsity and junior varsity teams.
Grimm also has worked with the Lakeshore Rise travel program in Sheboygan for the past seven years. He is an instructor for hitting and catching and also has been an assistant coach with teams at various age levels. Grimm also played softball in the Sheboygan Hingham men’s fast-pitch league for over 20 years.
Dennis is employed full-time by Ryder, and he and his wife Penny reside in Sheboygan. They have three children, including a daughter (Heather) who played softball at Finlandia (Mich.) University.
