After a very successful four years playing for the Muskies, Jordan August is in her first year as an assistant coach with the Lakeland softball team.
August was a four-year starter for the program as a catcher and coaches the team's catchers while assisting with pitching and hitting. She capped her career as a first team all-Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference selection and throughout her career was regarded as one of the conference's top defensive catchers.
August also was an NACC Scholar-Athlete Award winner and a two-time College Sports Communicators Academic All-District award winner. A native of Schererville, Ind., she received her bachelor's degree from Lakeland in elementary education.
