Logan Karse is in his first year as a student assistant coach with the Lakeland softball team.
Karse played for the Muskie baseball team last year, transferring to the school from Morton Community College in Cicero, Ill. A former second baseman and a native of Barrie, Ontario, Canada, he has brought a wealth of knowledge and energy to the program. Karse is involved with all facets of the program from being a charting coordinator, working with hitters, and stepping in as one of the infield coaches.
“I am excited to have Logan on Staff," said head coach Hailey Dreyer. "He is extremely motivated and has done a really nice job in working with our hitting coach, Tammy Utley, in preparing our hitters for the game. He is really quick to pick up on trends on hitters and pitchers we face, and has done a really nice job in shaping our hitters as well.”
Karse is majoring in Criminal Justice.
