Ryan Styza is in his second year as a student assistant coach with the Lakeland softball team.
Styza was a catcher on the Muskie baseball team for two years before switching over to coaching last year. He serves as assistant catching and outfield coach as well as scouting/charting coordinator.
"I'm excited to have Ryan on staff,” said Lakeland head coach Hailey Dreyer. “He is young and motivated and really does a great job getting our team ready and prepared. He has been a great help bringing in new catching drills and has done a fantastic job as our scouter at tournaments and charting all opposing hitters."
Styza is on track to graduate from Lakeland in May 2015 with a degree in exercise science and sport studies.
