2021: Pitched in three games, starting one, and posted a 0-1 record with a 6.42 earned run average… Pitched 12 innings and allowed 22 hits and 16 runs (11 earned) with 11 strikeouts and five walks… Struck out a season-high six in 6 2/3 inning outing against Edgewood April 2, where she allowed six hits and three earned runs.

2020: Pitched in two games in relief as a freshman in the Muskies’ shortened season… In two innings allowed four hits and one run (earned) with one strikeout for a 3.50 earned run average… Made collegiate debut against Dubuque (Iowa) March 9, allowing a hit and a run in one-third of an inning… Also batted one time, striking out in her only at bat.

High School: Member of softball team and was part of 2017 East Suburban Catholic Conference championship team.
 
Personal: Born Nov. 7, 2000… Daughter of Antonio & Maria Varela and has one brother (Antonio Jr.)… Majoring in biology.
