Lakeland University Athletics

2023: Became one of the top pitchers in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference, pitching in 20 games, starting 19, and posted a 9-9 record and a 2.11 earned run average… Threw 126 innings and allowed 102 hits, 53 runs (38 earned) with 111 strikeouts and 31 walks… Pitched 16 complete games, including two shutouts, and held opponents to a .218 batting average in being named a first team all-NACC selection… Her 111 K’s were the second-most in a season in school history and ranked third in the NACC… Also finished third in conference in strikeouts per seven innings (6.2), opponents’ batting average and walks + hits/innings pitched (1.06)… Threw a complete game one-hit shutout against Augsburg March 13… Struck out a career-high 12 against Oswego State (N.Y.) three days later… Pitched 16 2/3 innings in team's final doubleheader of the season at Edgewood May 7, throwing two complete games and allowing one run and seven hits over the two games, including 9 2/3 innings in a 1-0 10-inning loss in first game. She threw nine no-hit innings in that game, believed to be the longest ever for a no-hitter to go in a game in program history… Recipient of Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Scholar-Athlete Award and was named to College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team.

2022: Pitched in 16 games, starting all 16, and posted an 8-5 record with a 3.36 ERA… Pitched 85 1/3 innings, allowing 99 hits and 56 runs (41 earned) with 57 strikeouts and 28 walks… Threw eight complete games, including her first collegiate shutout in her debut, a one-hitter versus Russell Sage (N.Y.) March 6… Led team in wins and appearances and ranked second in innings pitched, strikeouts and complete games… Threw season-high 10 innings, allowing seven hits and four runs and getting the win at Benedictine April 15… Struck out season-best 11 against Alverno April 3… Recipient of NACC Scholar-Athlete Award.

High School: Three-year letter winner on softball team and also lettered four years in cross country, two years in swimming and one year in wrestling… Named honorable mention all-state as a junior, a year when she also was conference and regional pitcher of the year.
 
Personal: Born Sept. 25, 2002… Daughter of Curt & Kelley Hall and has two brothers (Nick and Dallas) and one sister (Megan)… Double majoring in exercise science and biology.

Greatest sports accomplishment: Being the pitcher to take Negaunee to win districts and regionals two years in a row for the first time.

Why did you choose Lakeland? I chose Lakeland because I really liked the feel when I first stepped on campus it felt like home. I also really liked how welcoming everyone was. I’m excited for what the next four years hold at Lakeland!
