Jackie Kriegel is in her third year as the graduate assistant coach with the Lakeland women's basketball program. Her duties include scouting, recruiting, and on-court instruction.Â
Kriegel came to Lakeland after a career as a four-year standout at Central College in Pella, Iowa. She was a four-year starter and led the Iowa Conference in rebounding as a senior, averaging 12.7 rebounds per game. She finished her career with 880 points and 1,011 rebounds. She also holds the school record for most rebounds in a game with 22.
Kriegel is a native of Marengo, Iowa, and received her degree in Sociology from Central. She is currently working towards her master’s degree in counseling while at Lakeland.
