Miranda Jacobson

Miranda Jacobson is back at Lakeland in 2022-23 for her second year as a graduate assistant with the women’s basketball program.

Jacobson is a former Muskies standout who played for the team from 2015-19. She was a two-time first team all-Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference performer, and along with fellow assistant Kayla Clark and then-assistant and now head coach Amber Peterson was part of the 2017 team that won the NACC Tournament and qualified for the NCAA Division III Tournament. Jacobson became the 13th Lakeland women’s basketball player to score 1,000 points, and she also recorded the only two triple-doubles in program history.

Jacobson is a native of Felch, Mich., in the Upper Peninsula and a graduate of North Dickinson County High School. She graduated from Lakeland in May 2017 with a degree in business administration.
