Biography
2020-21: Played in all 12 games in the Muskies’ season shortened due to the COVID-19 pandemic, starting three… In 21.3 minutes per game averaged 5.7 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game, finishing with season totals of 68 points, 28 rebounds, 18 assists and nine steals… Made 19 of 59 shots from field (32.2%), including 6 of 27 from three-point range (22.2%) and 24 of 31 from the free throw line (77.4%)… Finished third on team in scoring, assists and free throw percentage… Posted season highs of ten points against Wisconsin Lutheran Feb. 13, five rebounds at Edgewood Feb. 20 and four assists at Alverno Feb. 23.
2019-20: Played in 22 games, starting five and averaging 17.6 minutes per game as she played an increasingly big role down the stretch in her sophomore year… Averaged 6.5 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 1.4 assists per game with season totals of 142 points, 54 rebounds, 31 assists, 13 steals, and one blocked shot… Made 51 of 113 shots from the field (45.1%), including 20 of 50 from three-point range (40.0%), plus 20 of 43 from the free throw line (46.5%)… Led team in three-point field goal percentage and finished third in points per game, fourth in made field goals and three-pointers, and fifth in rebounds and assists… Scored a career-high 27 points at Aurora Feb. 11… Scored 14 point, grabbed career-high seven rebounds, and tied a career high with five assists in the last game of the season at Illinois Tech Feb. 19… Recipient of Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Scholar-Athlete Award.
2018-19: Played in nine games as a freshman, starting five, and averaged 11.2 minutes per game… Posted averages of 3.0 points, 1.8 rebounds, 1.0 assist, and 1.2 steals per game with season totals of 27 points, 16 rebounds, nine assists, 11 steals and one blocked shot… Shot 8 of 29 from the field (27.6%) and 7 of 13 from the foul line (53.8%)… Got the start in her first collegiate game and recorded season highs with nine points, five steals, and four rebounds against Lawrence on Nov. 15.
High School: Four-year letter winner on basketball team… Three-year team captain… Named first team all-area as a senior… Holds school’s all-time career scoring record with 1,276 points.
Personal: Born Sept. 22, 2000… Daughter of Michael Walding and Penny Walding and has one sister (Hera)… Majoring in exercise science.
