Biography
2016-17: Started all 28 games and averaged 13.0 points, 7.1 rebounds, 2.5 steals and 2.1 assists per game, finishing with totals of 364 points, 198 rebounds, 70 steals, 60 assists and 23 blocked shots… Shot 142 of 330 from the field (43.0%), including 17 of 56 from three-point range (30.4%) plus 63 of 90 from the foul line (70.0%)… Led Muskies in rebounds and steals and ranked second on team in scoring and third in assists, blocked shots and minutes played (26.7 mpg)… Also ranked second in Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference in steals and steals per game on her way to being named first team all-NACC… Steals total was fourth-most in a season in Lakeland history… Received NACC Player of the Week honor Jan. 3... Posted four double-doubles... Scored career-high 26 points on the road at Concordia Chicago Jan. 21 and had career bests of seven assists against Alverno Feb. 11 and seven steals on two occasions, first against Dominican Jan. 7 and again vs. Marian Jan. 21… Recipient of NACC Scholar-Athlete Award.
2015-16: Played in 22 games, starting 21 and averaged 27 minutes per game… Averaged 9.5 points per game and led team with 8.0 rebounds per game… Finished with season totals of 209 points, 175 rebounds, 40 assists, 34 steals and 22 blocks… Shot 86 of 238 from the field (36.1%) and 1-for-3 from the three-point line… Made 36 of 54 free throw attempts (66.7%)… Also had three double doubles and scored career-high 20 points Jan. 2 against Rockford University and had season-high 15 rebounds Jan. 23 against Concordia Chicago… Named honorable mention all-NACC.
2014-15: Started all 26 games as a freshman, averaging 25.8 minutes per game… Averaged 8.1 points and led the team with 7.6 rebounds per game…Finished with totals of 210 points, 198 rebounds, 46 steals, 38 assists and 15 blocks… Shot 88 of 191 from the floor (46.1%) and was 2-for-9 from three-point range (22.2%)…Shot 32 of 48 from the free throw line (66.7%) and had season highs of 14 points against Rockford on Jan. 6 and 16 rebounds against Aurora on Jan. 17…Hit a pair of buzzer-beaters to win games for Muskies, including a three-pointer Jan. 24 at Rockford and a layup before the horn Feb. 14 against Benedictine.
High School: Lettered in basketball, volleyball, softball and cross country… Team captain in basketball, volleyball and softball and was a three-time First Team All-Northern Lakes Conference selection in basketball… Also was a two-time first team all-conference pick in volleyball and was first team all-conference in softball as a senior... Honor roll student and member of National Honor Society.
Personal: Born July 8, 1996… Daughter of Jim & Lynn Stankevich and has two brothers (Brian and Adam)… Majoring in exercise science and sport studies.
