Mike Stubler

Mike Stubler is in his first year as Lakeland’s head coach for both the men’s and women’s bowling programs.

Stubler takes over the women’s program after Natalie Wojtczak served as coach in 2021-22. He also will look to build the men’s bowling program which competes at the club level.

“My motto is: we have fun, bowl to the best of our ability, and build up ourselves and those around us,” said Stubler after taking over as coach.

Stubler is a certified USBC (United States Bowling Congress) Bronze coach. He has coached for the past seven years in the Bowling Centers Association of Wisconsin’s middle and high school bowling program, acquiring four state titles along the way. He coached the Division 1 high school boys championship team last year including bowlers from Sheboygan North, Oostburg, Sheboygan Lutheran and Random Lake high schools, posting 15 games with an average of over 232 pins per game, including a perfect 300 game, and came within 11 pins of the state record.

Stubler is a longtime bowler with more than 30 years experience playing in leagues and has rolled three 300 games. He also has 28 years experience working as an insurance agent and runs his own agency, Stubler Insurance Solutions in Oostburg.

Stubler is married to wife Jodi and has two children, daughter Tia-a 2022 Lakeland graduate-and son Rory, a 2022 Oostburg High School graduate and freshman at Lakeland in the fall of 2022.
