2019: Competed in six of Muskies’ eight meets, again regularly finishing as the team’s No. 3 runner… Ran a career-best six-kilometer time at the Lawrence Invite Oct. 13, finishing in 28 minutes, 39.5 seconds, one of four finishes under 30 minutes on the season… Notched her best individual finish at the Wisconsin Private College Championships Oct. 19, coming in 44th with a time of 29:29.7.

2018: As a freshman competed in all six of Muskies’ meets, one of three members of the team to complete all six races, and frequently finished as the team’s No. 3 runner… Posted her best 6-kilometer time of the season at the Wisconsin Private College Championships Oct. 13, when she finished in 29 minutes, 23.99 seconds… Recorded best individual finish when she came in 45th at the Concordia (Wis.) Ken Weidt Classic Sept. 8.

High School: Four-year letter winner on cross country team and also lettered one year each in track & field and softball… Captain on cross country team... Academic all-state award winner.
 
Personal: Born Dec. 8, 1999… Daughter of Mark & Denice Petersen… Also is a member of the Lakeland women's track & field team... Pre-nursing major.

 
Career ambition/goal: Pediatric nurse

Favorite sports team: Dallas Cowboys (sorry it’s not the Packers), Michigan State Spartans
Hero/most influential person: My school guidance counselor who inspired me to go after my dreams despite what others have to say about them and to believe in myself
When not playing sports: You will most likely find me hunting, fishing, reading a good book, or hanging out with friends. But you also can’t forget about studying because I will definitely be doing that too and a lot of it.
Something people may not know about you: I am obsessed with funny memes and quotes. I don't mind spiders, but I absolutely cannot stand snakes.
