After playing for the Muskies for four years, Becca Giessen is in her first year as an assistant coach with the Lakeland women’s soccer team.
Giessen joins the team as its graduate assistant coach this year after being a four-year starter as a midfielder and defender. She played in 66 career matches, starting 56. Giessen played in every match of her last two years and scored a pair of goals in her career, including one on senior night against Alverno.
Giessen is a native of West Bend, Wis., and a graduate of West Bend East High School, where she was a four-year letter winner and honor roll student for the Suns. She received her degree from Lakeland in psychology.
