Harlie Valentine is in her first year as a graduate assistant coach with the Lakeland University women's soccer team in 2020.
Valentine is a California native making her way tot he Midwest, as she is a May 2019 graduate of Holy Names University in Oakland, Calif. She played four years of soccer for the NCAA Division II Hawks. A starter for much of her four years, she appeared in 61 matches from 2015-18, starting 40. Playing as both a forward and midfielder, she scored three goals with six assists for a total of 12 career points.
Valentine is a native of Brea, Calif., and received her degree from Holy Names in kinesiology, appearing on the Dean's List all four years. She also has six years of experience as a volunteer instructor and coach at Toledo Soccer and Futsal Academy in California, and she was an assistant with the CDA Slammers FC for the last year before coming to Lakeland.
