Pete Barth

Pete Barth is in his third year as an assistant coach with the Lakeland University women’s soccer team in 2025 and his second year working with head coach Heather Robare.

Barth continues as an assistant with the soccer program after retiring this spring from being the head coach of the Muskies track & field program. Barth led the track teams for eight years and also previously spent time as head coach of the Lakeland cross country and women’s tennis teams.

Barth came to Lakeland in May of 2013 as manager of communications. He served an assistant coach with the Lakeland women's soccer team in the 2016 season, and was named co-head coach for cross country in the spring of 2017. He also served as coach of the Lakeland women's tennis team for five seasons from 2020-24.

Barth also has experience coaching with select-level girls soccer in the Sheboygan area, including coaching an eighth-grade team of which the core played on the United States' youth level team in the Donosti Cup interna­tional competition in Spain.

A cross country and track & field athlete in high school, he also has competed in half-marathons, triathlons and other competitive races.
