Taylor Jahnke is in her first year as an assistant coach with the Lakeland College women’s soccer team.
Jahnke will assist interim head coach Kim Kriese this year after concluding a very nice three-year career with the Muskies. A three-year starter as a defender, Jahnke started all 55 matches she played in during her career while anchoring the Muskie defense. She was named an honorable mention all-Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference selection last year, the only Lakeland player to receive the honor over the past two years.
Jahnke is a native of nearby Howards Grove, Wis., and was a first team all-conference performer in high school. She recently completed her degree from Lakeland in exercise science and sport studies.
