Biography
2019: Played in Muskies’ first four matches, starting three, before suffering season-ending injury… Tallied one assist for one point in win over Blackburn Sept. 1… Finished with 21 shot attempts with seven on goal, and finished the year fourth on the team in shots and fifth in shots on goal… Recipient of Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Scholar-Athlete Award.
2018: Played in 17 matches, starting 16… Scored four goals and added five assists for 13 points, leading team in assists and finishing second in goals and points scored… Scored the game-winning goals in both of the Muskies’ first two wins of the season, first against North Central (Minn.) in a 2-1 win in the season opener Sept. 1 and then again in a 9-1 victory over Rockford Sept. 7, a game when she also added two assists for four points total… Finished with a team-high 42 shot attempts with 18 shots on goal, the latter second-most on the team.
2017: Played in 15 matches as a freshman, starting all 15… Scored four goals and added four assists for 12 points, leading team in goals and points and tying for team lead in assists… Also led team with 49 shot attempts and 21 shots on goal… Converted two of three penalty kick attempts… Scored first collegiate goal on a penalty kick against Maranatha Baptist on Sept. 8… Scored a pair of goals Sept. 13 against Mount Mary… Tallied first three collegiate assists Oct. 15 against Finlandia.
High School: Four-year letter winner on soccer team… Named second team all-Bay Conference as a senior… Team MVP as a junior… Won Bay Conference scholar-athlete award… Honor roll student.
Personal: Born Feb. 22, 1999… Daughter of John & Nicole Wauters… Also is a member of the Lakeland track & field team... Majoring in accounting.

Why did you choose Lakeland? I chose Lakeland because of the sense of family and community throughout campus between students and faculty. Everyone is so welcoming and inviting and you get to know everyone because of that. Also because of the beautiful scenery on and around campus during the changing seasons.
