Lakeland: Linka is in her first year with the Muskies and is a graduate transfer from Northland College in Ashland, Wis.

Northland: Played two years for the LumberJills in 2022 and 2023 and appeared in 32 matches, starting 18… Posted one assist for one point in her career, coming against North Central (Minn.) Oct. 22, 2022, and finished with 10 shot attempts with eight shots on goal… Also participated in cross country and basketball for the LumberJills last year, running in five cross country meets and appearing in 20 basketball games, starting six… Four-time Upper Midwest Athletic Conference Academic All-Conference award winner, including twice in soccer and once each in cross country and basketball.

High School: Four-year member of volleyball team… Team captain.

Personal: Daughter of Tony & Becky Linka and has one sister (Emily) and one brother (Nicholas)… Earned her bachelor’s degree from Northland in business administration and at Lakeland is working on her master’s in leadership and organizational development.


Career ambition/goal: Sports marketing
Why did you choose Lakeland? The Lakeland community felt very welcoming, the campus was beautiful, and I loved the location. The soccer program and coaches felt like the perfect home for me.
