2020-21: Played in all eight games in the Muskies’ shortened season during the COVID-19 pandemic, starting three… Did not attempt a shot… Recipient of Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Scholar-Athlete Award.

2019: Played in 13 matches, starting seven… Scored one goal that was the game-winner against Rockford Sept. 28 for a total of two points on the season… Finished with five shot attempts with three on goal.

2018: Played in all 19 of the Muskies’ matches as a freshman, starting eight… Scored one goal and added one assist for three points… Scored her first collegiate goal in a win over Rockford Sept. 7, and recorded her first assist the next game in a win against Mount Mary Sept. 9… Finished with 23 shot attempts with 12 shots on goal, ranking fourth on the team in shots and fifth in shots on goal.
 
High School: Two-year letter winner on the soccer team… Received her squad’s Team Spirit Award two years in a row.
 
Personal: Born April 14, 2000… Daughter of Tony & Rachel Garza and has two sisters (Rypley and Brie)… Majoring in marketing.

Why did you choose Lakeland? I’ve always wanted to play college soccer. The small campus and class sizes create a tight community between students.
