Sam Hopp is in his second year as a graduate assistant coach with the Lakeland men’s and women’s tennis programs.
Hopp is a Sheboygan native who joined the Muskies as an assistant in the fall of 2021. In addition to coaching at Lakeland, he is also the head coach of Sheboygan North High School’s boys and girls tennis teams. It marks a return to his alma mater as Hopp is a graduate of Sheboygan North, where he was a three-year member of the varsity boys tennis team.
Hopp is a 2020 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, where he received his degree in sports management. While at Whitewater he also served as an assistant coach at Milton and Edgerton high schools. He is working on his master’s in business administration at Lakeland.
