Biography

2024-25: Was team’s No. 1 singles player again and posted a 3-6 mark in singles matches, tying for the team lead in singles wins… Also paired with Alexis Labonte at No. 1 doubles to post a 2-8 record… Named first recipient of the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference’s FAR Award for women’s tennis, recognizing outstanding achievement and commitment in academics, athletics and service to the campus community… Recipient of NACC Scholar-Athlete Award.

2023-24: In her sophomore season again was the Muskies’ No. 1 singles player most of the year and finished with a 6-7 record, including 5-6 at No. 1 singles and 1-1 at No. 2 singles… Posted a 5-4 record against NACC foes and was named a first team all-NACC selection… Also teamed with Kassidee Webb to make up Lakeland’s No. 1 doubles team, posting a 3-10 record… Recipient of NACC Scholar-Athlete Award.

2022-23: As a freshman stepped into No. 1 singles role and posted a 4-9 record that included a trio of three-set losses… Also teamed with fellow freshman Kassidee Webb at No. 1 and No. 2 doubles to post an 8-6 mark in doubles. Duo finished 1-1 at No. 1 doubles and 7-5 at No. 2 doubles, ranking second among Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference No. 2 doubles teams in wins and fourth in win percentage… Was named NACC Freshman of the Year, the first Muskie ever to receive the conference’s top freshman award… Recipient of NACC Scholar-Athlete Award.

High School: Four-year letter winner on girls tennis team… Placed three times at Washington County Invite including taking first in 2021 and third in 2018 and 2019… Honor roll student, AP Scholar award winner, student-athlete award winner and member of National Honor Society.

Personal: Daughter of Timothy & Letty Heling and has one brother (Will)… Majoring in biology.

Why did you choose Lakeland?  I chose Lakeland because of its location and small class sizes. I was also excited to be admitted to the Honors Program and play for the Lakeland tennis team.
