Chris Seidl is in his second year as an assistant coach with the Lakeland women’s volleyball team.
Seidl joined the Muskies in 2014 with extensive experience coaching volleyball at the club and high school levels. At the club level he has coached with the Wisconsin Volleyball Academy in Appleton since 2008, having success with teams at various age levels. He has an overall record of 183-88 as a head coach and has led two teams to top 20 finishes at the AAU national championships in Orlando, Fla. Seidl also is a coach with the Badger Region High Performance program in Waukesha, serving as a lead summer coach training club athletes since 2011.
Seidl also coached the boys volleyball team at Kimberly High School the past two years, finishing with a 44-21-1 record. He coached a pair of WIAA all-state selections and eight all-conference performers, and five of his former players are currently playing collegiate men’s volleyball. Prior to serving as varsity head coach, Seidl also was the junior varsity head coach for three seasons.
Seidl played collegiate club volleyball at St. Norbert, and in fact was the co-founder of the program and served as its president while playing from 2009-12. He was a two-time First Team All-Wisconsin Volleyball Conference selection, as well as an academic dean’s list student.
Seidl is a native of Kimberly, where he was an all-state outside hitter while playing in high school. He received his bachelor’s degree from St. Norbert in business administration in May 2012 and currently resides in Green Bay.
