Madison Schweitzer is in her second year as an assistant with the Lakeland women’s volleyball team.
Schweitzer served as a student assistant with the Muskies last year and is back in a part-time capacity this year. She is a recent Lakeland graduate who played one year for the Muskies, leading the team in assists as a freshman in 2016 when she was named to the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference All-Freshman Team. Schweitzer finished second in the NACC in assists and assists per set and also was seventh in the conference in service aces.
Schweitzer recently completed her degree from Lakeland in communication and is currently employed at Lakeshore Technical College. Her twin sister Kearstin also is an assistant coach with the Lakeland football program.
