Sean Foley

Sean Foley is in his second year as a graduate assistant coach with both the Lakeland men’s and women’s volleyball teams.

Foley came to the Muskies with nine years of experience as a player and coach at the high school and club levels. Most recently he was the boys volleyball junior varsity head coach at Middleton High School in Middleton, Wis., where he led the Cardinals to a 22-4 overall record and an undefeated conference record. He also assisted the varsity team as it made an appearance in the WIAA state tournament.

Foley played at Marquette University High School, where he led the Hilltoppers to a state runner-up finish as a senior. He then served as a volunteer assistant coach for the next three years. Foley also played for the West Allis Lightning club team for four years before serving as an assistant coach for three years, and also played for the North Shore Milwaukee club team for a year in high school, captaining the team to a Junior Olympics Bronze Division title.

Foley is a native of Milwaukee and in December 2014 completed his bachelor’s degree of business administration in actuarial science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
