Lakeland: Kovalaske is in her first year with the Muskies and is a transfer from St. Norbert College.

St. Norbert: Played in 28 matches and a total of 79 sets last year as a freshman… Finished with 190 kills with 129 errors in 606 attacks (.101 hitting percentage… Added 141 digs, 18 blocks (nine solo, nine assisted), 14 assists and 13 service aces… Finished fourth on team in kills… Named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Freshman of the Year… Posted season bests of 21 kills and 13 digs against Marian Oct. 10.

High School: Four-year letter winner on volleyball team and also lettered two years in soccer and one year in basketball… Four-time all-East Central Conference performer in volleyball, including a three-time first team selection… Team captain and conference player of the year as a senior, when she was a second team all-state selection in WIAA Division 2.

Personal: Daughter of Travis & Brandi Kovalaske and has two sisters (Mahaila and Miranda) and one brother (Ethan)… Majoring in elementary education.
