2019: Member of the Muskies’ varsity reserve team and did not play in a varsity match as a sophomore.

2018: Member of varsity reserve, did not play in a varsity match… Recipient of Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Scholar-Athlete Award.

High School: Three-year letter winner on volleyball and basketball teams and also played one year of softball… Two-time captain on both volleyball and basketball teams… MVP of volleyball team as a freshman.
 
Personal: Born Nov. 15, 1999… Daughter of Jim & Kristin Van Engen and has one sister (Danielle)… Pre-nursing major.

Hero/most influential person: My hero would have to be my best friend in the entire world, Jodi Hinz. Jodi and I have been best friends since we were in diapers, from then on our friendship never changed. She has taught me to work hard towards everything but also to stay humble about it. No matter what she could always cheer me up with her stupid little sayings that could make you laugh until you cried. But Jodi hasn't been with me for the last year as a horrible car accident took her life. But even though she's gone she'll always be my hero.
Greatest sports accomplishment: In playoffs when my volleyball team beat Campbellsport for the first time in three years
