2017: Played in 25 matches and a total of 73 sets… Finished with 160 kills with 70 errors in 560 attack attempts for a .161 hitting percentage, ranking third on the team in kills and fourth in hitting percentage… Also finished fifth on team with 179 digs and third in service aces with 24… Added 17 assists and 10 blocks (two solo, eight assisted)… Posted season-high in kills with 15 against Loras (Iowa) on Sept. 23 and tied that mark Oct. 21 against Maranatha Baptist… Also notched season high for digs with 15 against UW-Oshkosh on Oct. 18… Recipient of Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Scholar-Athlete Award.

Eastern Wyoming CC: Welsh came to Lakeland after spending two years at Eastern Wyoming Community College in Torrington, Wyo., where she played on the volleyball team for two years. She was a two-time team offensive player of the year, made a pair of all-tournament teams as a freshman and also was a two-time academic all-conference honoree.

High School: Four-year letter winner on volleyball team and also lettered three years in basketball… First Team All-Southwest Conference as a senior, and was a two-time honorable mention all-state selection and also was twice named honorable mention all-Omaha World Herald… Member of National Honor Society.
 
Personal: Born June 23, 1997… Daughter of Bob & Roxane Welsh and has one brother (Guy Horn) and two sisters (Alexia Lanka and Savannah Welsh)… Majoring in psychology.
