Mason Hawkins is in his third year as an assistant coach with the Lakeland men’s wrestling program in 2025-26.
Hawkins is on board as a full-time assistant this year after spending the last two years as the program's graduate assistant. He came to the Muskies after serving as an assistant coach at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. He also wrestled for the Blugolds as well, and was a nationally ranked heavyweight as a senior in 2021-22.
Hawkins also was an NJCAA All-American at Rochester (Minn.) Community & Technical College, and in all won 126 career matches as a collegian. He is a native of Farmington, Minn., and graduated from UWEC with a degree in psychology and a minor in coaching.
