Jon Goetz is in his second year as an assistant coach with the Lakeland men’s wrestling team.
Goetz wrestled collegiately under Muskies head coach Mike DeRoehn at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, where he was a three-time NCAA Division III Championships qualifier. He was a national runner-up at 174 pounds as a junior, when he became UWP’s first-ever national finalist, and that year finished as the Pioneers’ first All-American since 2010.
Goetz also was a three-time NWCA Scholar All-American at UW-Platteville. A native of West Bend, Wis., he is currently a coach at the Askren Wrestling Academy in Thiensville.
