Lucero Velazquez is in her first year as a student assistant coach with the Lakeland men’s volleyball team in 2025.

Velazquez is a junior at Lakeland and also has been a member of the Muskies women’s volleyball team for three years. She also is a coach with the South Shore Slam club in Sheboygan. Velazquez is a native of nearby Sheboygan and is majoring in criminal justice at Lakeland.
