Sheboygan native and former Muskie Mason Prunick is in his third year as an assistant coach with the Lakeland football program in 2024. He will again assist with coaching the team’s wide receivers.

Prunick joined the coaching staff in 2022, first coaching the team's safeties after a quality career with the Muskies from 2017-21. Playing as a wide receiver and H-Back, Prunick caught 66 passes for 1,323 yards and 17 touchdowns in his career. His most productive season came as a fifth-year senior. With an extra season of eligibility due to the COVID-19 pandemic, he caught 28 passes for 688 yards and nine touchdowns on his way to Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference honorable mention honors. His 24.6 yards per reception was one of the top marks in all of NCAA Division III, ranking fourth-best in the country.
