Michelle Nelson is in her 10th year as an athletic trainer at Lakeland University in 2024-25.

Nelson is a board certified athletic trainer with the National Athletic Trainers' Association. She also is a Wisconsin Licensed Athletic Trainer.

A Milwaukee native, the former Michelle Yourich graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in May 2014 with a bachelor's degree in athletic training and a minor in strength and conditioning.

Michelle is married to Brandon Nelson and has two children, Kinsley and Baker.
