RIVER FOREST, Ill. – Ricardo Aragon scored the game's lone goal in the 85th minute and Concordia University Chicago defeated the Lakeland College men's soccer team 1-0 Sunday afternoon in a Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference match at Concordia Stadium.
The Muskies lost by a single goal for the third time this season and dropped to 4-8-1 overall and 1-5 in the NACC. The Cougars meanwhile won by the same margin for the fourth time this season and are now 6-4-2 overall and 3-2 in conference play.
The Muskies had the upper hand in play and even dominated at times over the first 60 minutes. Lakeland outshot Concordia 12-6 over that span and put six shots on goal to just two for the Cougars.
Concordia reversed momentum over the final 30 minutes, generating five straight shots, the final of which was Aragon's game-winner at 84:06 of the match. Lakeland had one final chance in the last minute, but a shot by

So.-Douala Litoral Region, Cameroon) was blocked with 17 seconds left.

Sr.-Santiago, Chile) led Lakeland offensively with three shot attempts, two on goal. Nda added three shot attempts and
Logan Massey (
Jr.-New Franken, Wis.) added two shots, including one on goal.
Austin Ganzke (
Sr.-West Allis, Wis.) made three saves in goal for the Muskies, while Jorge Guzman made six saves for the shutout for the Cougars.
The Muskies step out of conference to face the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
