After a busy stretch filled primarily with road games, the Lakeland University men's soccer team finally gets two matches at home starting with a non-conference meeting with Maranatha Baptist University today at 4 p.m. on the campus pitch.
Lakeland (1-6 overall) is coming off a tough 2-1 loss to Rockford on Saturday in its Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference opener.

Sr.-Douala Litoral Region, Cameroon) scored the game's first goal early in the first half, but the Regents scored twice in the second half, including a penalty kick for the go-ahead goal in the 82nd minute. Lakeland was shooting for its second straight win following a 2-0 win at Iowa Wesleyan last Tuesday that was the first win as Muskies coach for
Marc Baumbach.
Maranatha Baptist enters with a 1-4 record and most recently was defeated by Greenville (Ill.) 3-0 on Saturday. The visiting Panthers scored an early goal in the 13th minute and then two more goals in the second half. Randal Larson made seven saves in goal for MBU.
