AURORA, Ill. - The Lakeland University men's and women's soccer teams' matches against Aurora University Saturday night have been postponed due to lightning in the Chicago area.

The women's teams had just begun the second half of their match with Aurora holding a 1-0 lead when lightning forced the teams off the field for the second time in the evening. The decision was made soon after that the matches could not be completed Saturday, and they have been rescheduled for Sunday, Oct. 22 in Aurora. The women's match will begin at 2 p.m., with the men's to follow at 4:15 p.m.

The Lakeland men's and women's teams are both home tomorrow when they welcome Finlandia (Mich.) University for a doubleheader, with the women's match commencing at 2 p.m. and the men's to follow at 4:30 p.m.
