Most recently, Lakeland was defeated by Concordia Chicago 5-0 Saturday on hot and humid afternoon . The Cougars scored four goals in the second half and dominated possession throughout, outshooting Lakeland 28-2 and not allowing a single Muskie shot on goal.
Thomis Mannebach made 14
saves in goal, including a number from point-blank range, but Lakeland was shut out for the fifth time this season.
Marian also is coming in off a loss after being defeated by NACC power Dominican 3-1 on Saturday at home for their third straight loss and third loss in seven days. Marian actually outshot the visiting Stars 13-9 but surrendered goals 39 seconds before halftime, 71 seconds after the half and then on a penalty kick to fall behind 3-0.
