The Lakeland University men's basketball team will attempt to complete a season sweep of Edgewood College when the Eagles visit the Moose & Dona Woltzen Gymnasium Wednesday night at 7 p.m.
The Muskies already have an 83-69 win on the road in Madison against Edgewood on Nov. 27 and will look to get back above .500 in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference while also trying to snap a five-game losing skid. Lakeland also will aim to keep up its recent mastery of the Eagles that includes winning eight of the teams' last nine meetings.
Lakeland (6-7 overall, 4-4 NACC) was defeated by Illinois Tech 81-72 at home on Saturday in its most recent game.

Sr.-Port Washington, Wis.) scored 23 points and the Muskies sliced a 23-point second half deficit down to six points late before the Scarlet Hawks finished the game off to wrap up a regular season sweep of their own against the Fish.
Edgewood (3-10 overall, 3-5 NACC) also is coming off a loss to one of the NACC's top teams, having fallen 81-77 at MSOE on Saturday. The Eagles also battled back from a large second half deficit, cutting a 16-point margin down to three in the final minute. Jake Negus scored 20 points, McClain Steffens also scored 17 and Emil Radisevic added 16.
