The Lakeland University women's volleyball team will honor seven seniors before an important Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference match when it hosts Benedictine University Friday night at 7 p.m. at the Moose & Dona Woltzen Gymnasium.
The Muskies begin a key two-day stretch of the season where they will get a good measure of where they stack up among the NACC's top teams. Lakeland will take on an improved Benedictine squad Friday before hosting defending conference champion Aurora University Saturday afternoon.

The Muskies (8-8 overall, 2-1 NACC) have been idle since last Friday when they swept Marian 25-21, 25-17, 25-10.

Riley Birr added eight kills without an error in a comfortable win where Lakeland trailed only briefly against its rivals from Fond du Lac.
Benedictine (11-3 overall, 1-0 NACC) most recently rallied for a four-set win Wednesday night against North Park (Ill.), rallying for an 18-25, 25-20, 25-23, 25-22 win. Taylor Dunwell finished with 20 kills, Molly Stock also posted 13 kills and Yngride JeanPhillipe added 10 kills as the Eagles hit .287 as a team.
